What is a day at Scientia like?
Student's start to arrive from 8.30am. For students who wish to take part, a spiritual assembly is held and then lessons start at 8.50am. Why choose Scientia Educational Centre?
There are many tuition centres/home school providers out there, so why choose Scientia Educational Centre (SEC)? After over 15 years in the Education sector, there are many factors that differentiate us from our competition. Please read below for reasons why you should enrol your child(ren) with us:
Student Centered
We put the student at the centre of all we do. They are our number one priority, and the reason we chose to do this. Your child will not just be a number to us, their individual needs will be taken into account and prioritised.
Small Classes
Students will be taught individually, or in small classes, depending on your preference. This helps us to provide your child their unique and individual requirements. Many children struggle in big classes; we remove that obstacle to their learning.
Experienced Teachers
We use qualified and experienced teachers. We have taught in schools and have experience in teaching subjects in the UK (and international) curriculums. We have proven results in 11+, GCSE and A'Levels. Many tutors have little to none experience in teaching in school, many are still students themselves.
Tailored Education
Home schooled students may not require tutors for all subjects they are studying. We are here to fill the gap where subjects can't be taught at home. We can create a tailored timetable to suit your needs.
Regular & Ongoing Assessment
We provide regular assessments. We assess through classwork and homework; both of which are fully marked. We also provide end of term tests and mock tests.
Online Tuition
We also provide all our services online, as well as in person. For any student who isn't able to travel to us, we can provide tutoring online.
Exam Boards
We teach all exam boards, for all subjects. We have students who attend from many different school and are fully able to teach your child's current board.
Students will not miss out on school trips as we take students on both educational and fun trips.
